Circle Jerks release "Group Sex" vinyl editions, iTunes catalogue

While there will be no new album in the near future, Circle Jerks have released two new vinyl editions of their album, Group Sex. The first version is a 12-inch picture disc, a selection of which have been autographed by the surviving original band members Keith Morris, Greg Hetson and Lucky Lehrer. The signed copies are available exclusively through Aural Exploits.

The band has also released a set of limited edition colored vinyl of the album. The run includes various colors including pink, clear and clear blue. The skinny on the blue vinyl is that it will be exclusively available through retailer Hot Topic while pink and clear will be in mom and pop stores. Red and yellow clear vinyl will be available in the new year via Porterhouse Records.

a few weeks ago i decided that i am going to sell my 800+ cds and start turning everything into vinyl (i own maybe 50 records right now).

this is one of my favorite older records by an "old-school" (i hate that term) band.

so what do you guys think.

search and find an original pressing or buy this deluxe album in th esky.

let me know, vinyl heads.

Just buy this. If all you are looking for is a copy on vinyl, why search?

Stick with the original press. You can find it for a few bucks in a decent store.

moving is awful. the one good thing about moving is you throw away the shit that has been sitting at the bottom of your closet/still in a box since you moved in or you find something that you thought you had lost

from 2005 - 2007 i lived in 7 different places in 3 states. it was rough.

i'd say you break even, initially losing punx points for stepping into hot topic, and only regaining as much as you lost for whatever havoc you cause in there, short of pissing on all the t-shirts or making either a customer or employee cry. if you do either of those things, the punx have been upped significantly.

I love the circle jerks, but doesn't this seem a little weird to have this come out when Frontier are still pressing this in nearly almost identical colours? http://www.frontierrecords.com/31002.html on another note I really can't stand picture discs, why would you buy something that nearly always doesn't have a lyric sheet and cut down packaging?, it makes no sense to me? But this LP is still a classic record.....
