The first of the The Damned's performances on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson is now available online. The performance is to support the band's brand new album, So, Who's Paranoid which was released digitally on October 28, 2008. The digital release will be followed by a physical release on November 17th in the UK and the 12th of December in the US.
Craig talks about his first exposure to the Damned and punk rock and how the music reminded him of "musical fighting." The single was the second single from the band and first released in 1977. The record follow 2001's Grave Disorder which was released on Nitro Records. Television (31 comments)

Frickin' awesome! They look great & sound better. Craig Ferguson's story of the first time he heard the 1st Damned 7-inch was cool too!

do any of the candidates on the ballot in this upcoming election support an end to discrimination against employees with facial hair? i'm unemployed right now, part of the reason i left my last job was beacause they would not allow me to grow a beard. this is the most important issue for me when i go to the voting booth this year. 4+ Replies

On an unrelated note: Does anyone have pressing info on the Young Livers/Bridge & Tunnel split? I got it sent to me like two weeks before the release date and was hoping that I'd have got some at least semi-rare variation.

how did David Vanian manage to keep the "goth" in his goth-punk so artfully restrained for 30 years, while Davey Havok let his spiral out of control in less than 15?
