My Chemical Romance prep "Three Cheers" vinyl for December

My Chemical Romance have announced plans to release a limited red vinyl pressing of their major label debut and breakthrough album, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. Due out December 16, 2008, the pressing follows the band's limited pressing of The Black Parade.

While the band is currently not touring, members have been keeping busy with a variety of projects. Frontman Gerard Way is gearing up for the potential film treatment of his comic book, The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite. Guitarist Frank Iero's rock'n'roll/hardcore/punk act Leathermouth most recently signed to Epitaph Records.

I think My Chemical Romance is one of the best rock bands around today. I shit you not; I really think they kick ass and I don't understand why they get as much shit as they do.

I agree, to an extent. Completely ignoring the majority of their fanbase and simply focusing on the music I find myself actually enjoying it quite a bit. This opinion is based on the first 2 releases though, I don't know about The Black Parade (or anything, if there is anything, after).

yeah, i wouldn't go as far as to say "the best" but they are a totally solid band. i really liked their last album, and now that gerard can sing when he performs live, their good onstage too.

It's Not a Fashion Statement... is a good song. Probably the best on the album, and I'll admit I like this record, too. The one before it was pretty good, but The Black Parade had some really terrible stuff on there.
