Park reuniting for one show in January

Park have announced a reunion show for next year. Set for January 31st, 2009 at Fubar in St.Louis, the bill will feature the beloved band along with support from The Forecast. The band released their last album, Building a Better _______ in 2006. They split up in February of 2007.

Park is really good, and Ladd Mitchell is one of my favorite songwriters. They kinda remind me of those 90s "emo-indie" bands like The Promise Ring, Texas Is The Reason, American Football, etc.

I've realized that I pretty much will like anything that sounds like American Football. They ruled so hard.

Definately. I just got into them like a year and a half or so ago, and I've got their self-titled album always in my car. Great stuff.

definitely love American Football. Wish I wasn't nine, ten when they were playing the Fireside in Chicago. At least I get Owen (Nov. 24th!). Still, American Football was excellent. My friend wants me to go to this show though. Ugh...

I won that album in a punknews contest, and I got it right after a break up, which was cool (and kinda bad at the same time with all the downer lyrics, but I made it through).

I haven't won anything since the org exploded in popularity. I guess that was '03 or '04. I think I benefited of having not as many people entering contests and just being lucky. Were you around when they actually announced winners. There was a strange amount of girls winning it almost seemed. Biased editors maybe? Just kidding haha

Always in support of more Park! Just wish they would tour some more . . . Ladd Mitchell is amazing, and such a nice guy. I wonder if he'll do any more with A Times Beach Crush Factor.

Park is one of the greatest bands I have ever heard. Ladd is an awesome songwriter and Miles is a hell of a drummer.
