To celebrate a book about a bunch of obnoxious bands who sound the same, the release party will feature a bunch of obnoxious bands who sound the same.

I wish people would write a book about melodic hardcore. Talk about early AFI, inquisition into strike anywhere, lifetime, avail, all that good stuff.

BTW, Going Underground was a waaay better book than American Hardcore.

I went through my annual revisit of Shelter's "Mantra" a few months ago. Still love that album, as cheesy as it is at times.

I could go to this show and actually not feel old. That would be pretty cool in itself.

to both above posters, swing revival is still fairloy popular, in smaller circles... alot of greasers are keeping it going strong..as for a 4th wave of ska...hell yes! im there!...every wave has been great, and i welcome it's survival.

Anything punk or hardcore from the '90's that doesn't include Grimple is not worth the time.

Yeah this kid obviously has never heard half the band mentioned. Unbroken were amazing. Underdog were fucking great! Threadbare were very angry. Reach the sky were good emotional hardcore. I don't know 90's revelation era shit was pretty good.

That is an epic fucking show. Hats off to anyone who was able to secure a ticket. |
