Montreal's CPC Gangbands have called it quits. Vocalist Roy 'Choyce' Vucino commented:

A few years back i started the Gangbangs knowing is gonna be a pretty rough and tumble ride. We brought a bit of chaos and lots of rock 'n' roll wherever we went and had a blast doing so. Following the departure of key members and the arrest of another in the USA it has become impossible for us to continue. The core of the band will continue to record and push the ideals of the band under the moniker RED MASS

You fan find more details on Red Mass as MySpace. Bassist Tommy Kitsos has most recently been performing as part of John Reis' Night Marchers. Other CPC members have performed or recorded with acts such as the Cockroaches, Chocolat, les Enfants Sauvages, PiPi, Mark Sultan, Bestalita and Ghost Limbs.
