Some new photos from Brooklyn D.I.Y. confirm rumours that Jawbreaker and Jets To Brazil mastermind Blake Schwarzenbach has indeed teamed up with Aaron Cometbus of Cometbus, Crimpshrine, Pinhead Gunpowder and numerous other bands.

I just saw Pulley last Friday with No Use For A Name and it was the best show I've been to all year. Pulley killed it. It was so good to see Pulley, they were sooo good. No Use killed it as usual. No matter what their later catalog may be, they put on a hell of a show. i woke up with my knee and hip busted and I've been limping all week but the show was defiantly worth it. My wife keeps telling me old men don't belong in the pit, but whatever!

I used to work maintenance in a truck stop. Like, having to clean truckers showers, and bathrooms.

Sometimes I used to think they just thought it was a competition to see how far away from the toilet they could get while blindfolded. The womens room was always worse. I swear to GOD it was on the ceiling once.

And the showers, man...it's why I'm so germaphobic now. We used to have to of those flat scrappers. One for gum, and one for condoms. Not fun. One time, you could just smell the uh, 'completion', so I turned off the lights, and on the black lights and it was like seven episodes of CSI were filmed.

You can also modify a 360 to play them, too. But I'd probably go with the vinyl, at this point.

And yeah, you're fucking awesome. I totally know.

So I live above Blake Schwarzenbach in the same apartment building... After the second Thorns of Life show, I overheard Blake crying to his new bassist Daniela that this is his "last hurrah" since he has been diagnosed with lung cancer and he thinks he's going to die. What a tragedy-in-the-making. Ironic that the same thing that gave him his cool voice (smoking) is also now killing him!
