Triple Rock Social Club celebrates 10th anniversary with D4, Naked Raygun, Lawrence Arms, Lucero

Minneapolis, MN's Triple Rock Social Club will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in December. The bar, owned by Erik Funk of Dillinger Four and his wife, have been a frequent name drop in songs including NOFX's "Seeing Double at the Triple Rock, Motion City Soundtrack's "Better Open the Door" and Limbeck's "Home is Where the Van Is."

In honor of the anniversary, a number of bands will be visiting the venue including Lucero, Dillinger Four, Big Business, Hanson Brothers, Banner Pilot, The Lawrence Arms, Naked Raygun and Har Mar Superstar.

i'm surprised the hold steady and atmosphere aren't involved with this at all.

My old punk band did a cover of "Blitzkrieg Hops". I was on vocal duty for that one. It was fun as shit to play and it went over fairly well with the ol' Saskatchewan punkers.

They really are. I only got to see them once. I went to see nomeansno, they had 2 drummers. After their super long set (which is a good thing), the Brothers came on stage for a shorter set. The perfect end to a show that also had Archers of Loaf opening (that was right after Icky Mettle came out). They more than made up for the crappy local band that also was on the bill.
