Trailer for upcoming Warped DVD

Image Entertainment has posted a trailer for the new DVD covering the 2007 edition of the annual Warped Tour. Shot during the 13th year of America's longest-running touring festival, the one-hour DVD features breaking and established bands from the annual summer-long tour.

Live performances include Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Religion, Chiodos, Circa Survive, Coheed and Cambria, Killswitch Engage, Fishbone, Pennywise, Pepper, The Starting Line, Sum 41. Interview segments feature Alkaline Trio, The Almost, Chiodos, Coheed and Cambria, Escape the Fate, Killswitch Engage, Meg and Dia, Paramore and The Starting Line .

The DVD is due out December 2, 2008.

we are definitely the "old dude" now. Yes. But, on the other hand music has really taken a slide downhill too. It isn't like we are living in the past. I think we all recognize that there are some really great and relevant musicians out there making great music right now. It just seems that not a lot of people are paying attention. They are fixated on this drivel that is being churned out by the industry at large.

Fishbone was awesome that year. But, Fishbone is always awesome.

Coheed put on a great show too. Bad Religion always seem boring at Warped Tour... I think they're just much better in a club setting.

I think all bands are better in a club setting, I just don't really like outdoor shows. The only saving grace for going to this tour in WA is the fact that it's at the Gorge, which at least has a beautiful view when you look past the people and the stage.

the phrase "a shadow of its former self" springs to mind... i've got an old warped tour live compilation cd and here are some of the bands on it: dropkick murphys, 7 seconds, bosstones, nofx, longbeach dub allstars, hot water music, pennywise, h2o, bad religion, one man army.

the only really bad band on it is papa roach; everything else is top dollar. there's even a great blink 182 live version of dammit.

anyway... oh how the times have changed.

I was thinking about warped 97... the lineup was insane:
Bad Religion, NOFX, Rancid, Strung Out, Sick of It All, Deftones, Social D, Descendents, CIV, and more that I'm spacing right now...

if that tour happened again I think we'd all shit ourselves.

Anyone remember 2000? NOFX, Green Day, Weezer, Good Riddance... and I can't think of the rest, but yeah, talk about going downhill, jeez.

2000 in CA had: Bosstones, Millencolin, Long Beach Dub All Stars, Let's Go Bowling, in addition to the 4 you listed. Can't remember much more, that was a great tour......sigh.....my old lady won free tix to this past Warped, and goddamn what a pile of shit it's become

Fuck, this year was brutally bad. I enjoyed the Bronx, Street Dogs, AM! and Aggrolites and I think that's about it (missed bedouin soundclash, because warped is stupid and had them play at the same time as bronx). I seriously spent about five hours walking around looking at the stupid neon kids and wishing I was at home.

Missed Aggro, cause they played at like 1000 AM, before the fuckin gates were even open. And that's all I remember, straight drinking and cursing at the sun (it was 112 that day)

why put out a dvd of something that went on nearly two years ago???? If that's the case, why don't they put out a dvd of warped tour when it was actually good, like say 95?

doesn't sound like it has much footage from 7+ years ago's warped tours. I remember seeing, weezer, green day, blink 182, jurassic 5, glassjaw, sucide machines and snapcase on warped tours.

I think lately it's become much more restricted to the "orgcore" values. Not completely obviously but it does seem to have shifted. The coverage doesn't seem as wide as it used to be to me. I mean, Amebix are pretty huge in their own right, even Blabbermouth posted the news. Whatever. I can't even keep up with the comment section any more since new memes seem to pop up every third story.
