No Doubt and Fall Out Boy headline Bamboozle 2009

No Doubt and Fall Out Boy have been announced as headliners for The Bamboozle 2009. The event is set for May 2nd and 3rd, 2009 at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ. Many other acts have been rumoured for the event including NOFX, Maroon Five, Gorilla Biscuits, Britney Spears, and Sublime.

It's pretty awful and disappointing, but let's not forget that, amongst other things, there have been 2 Cure records, Metallica's St. Anger, the entirety of the Black Eyed Peas career, Miley Cyrus, releases by Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Backstreet Boys... I think Nickelback are an entirely 2000's phenomenon... etc. etc. etc. ... it's pretty hard to call this the worst album of the decade, because frankly, the sheer volume of bullshit to which we are exposed is mind boggling if you really think about it. This can't possibly be the worst of it. At least the first track of Chinese Democracy was listenable and somewhat likable.

I've been writing alot of Dag Nasty ish stuff. The way Brian Baker utilizes drone strings and moving bass lines on the guitar is awesome. He is such an underrated player. And I don't care what you guys say, his solos in Bad Religion are pretty bitching.
