According to a Pitchfork report, legendary noise/hardcore/punk act The Jesus Lizard will be reuniting in 2009.
the classic lineup of David Yow, Duane Denison, David Wm. Sims, and Mac McNeilly will hit the road on what the band's label is calling a "fleeting reunion." In May of 2009, the band's first four albums, Goat, Liar, Head and Down will be reissued on CD and vinyl and are currently undergoing remastering by Bob Weston. The engineer responsible for the original releases - Steve Albini - is supervising the remastering process. Touch and Go Records (32 comments)

Saw several shows in the band's early days at CB's, Maxwell's and a few other spots in the city and they were fucking amazing each and every time. If they brought the same intensity they originally had, these shows will be legendary.

i'm psyched. saw them a few times in the early 1990s (when touring to support Goat and Liar) and they were awesome.

I've been getting into Jesus Lizard more and more as the years go by. So underrated. And that new Young Widows disc is so Jesus Lizardy. Check out 'Mouthbreather' by Jesus Lizard. They should tour with Mudhoney and I'll quit my job for sure.

Saw them in G'ville in the early 90's while I was still in school.
