According to a report from The BR Page, Bad Religion is not likely to release a new album in 2009 as many expected, but in 2010. According to bassist Jay Bentley:
Graffin teaches January, February and March. Japan [in] early April, Warped Tour in June, July and August and Australia at the end of September. So there is only November and December left for recording. There isn't much material as of now, but we could probably guess with 99% that we will be working on new material for 2010.

2010 would be a symbolic year for the band who formed thirty years prior in 1980. The group released New Maps of Hell [Deluxe Edition] [CD/DVD] in 2008.
