I thought Blasphemy when I read the title, and someone already agreed with me.

i like this song, and i like the alkaline trio, but does it really surprise you that some crappy mall rock band is covering this song? this shit could've easily been written by dashboard confessionals or saves the day or any other super corny band.

I drove three hours to Brooklyn last night and sang Minor Threat with Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. So very, very worth it!

The worst part is that no one knows the words. God damn kids these days.

I can't believe it. I watched the video, and now I feel like crying. My night has been ruined. Fuck you William Beckett. Fuck you.

The real question is why the fuck is this a news item? I mean, shitty bands cover good bands every day...
kevgren (December 4, 2008)
I was reading the comments, and the reactions seemed a little bit excessive. Then I actually watched the video
rebeccaa (December 4, 2008)

If there were really laws that could get you fired from punk, this would be punishable by death.

I was just looking at epic fail/motivational or whatever pictures and I found one of my old roommate..

lets not talk about the driving part of his comment, lets talk about the minor threat part
mill83 (December 4, 2008)
I was going to comment on how the crowd doesn't seem that into it, and then I realized that most of their fans probably weren't born when the Trio formed.
red_eye_inc (December 4, 2008)
I was at this show, it was on Tuesday. No one knew what this song was except for me, the guy I was with and four other old guys in the back. We laughed about it.

I like how it's anonymous on the submitter... someone knew they would get shit hurled at them.

PoliticsOfStarving (December 4, 2008)
First, it's just wrong to hear Radio being sung with such a girly voice.
