Media: Let Me Run: "Like a Fish"

Let Me Run have released a free MP3 from their upcoming debut full length. The record is titled Meet Me At The Bottom and is due out January 20, 2009. The album is being released by XOXO Records and has drawn comparisons to bands like Hot Water Music, Gaslight Anthem and Jawbreaker.

The band will be performing with the Bouncing Souls during the upcoming Home for the Holidays shows and was one of our Video of the Week selections here on Punknews.org

I really dig most of the bands Xoxo records signs, they seem to have a good orgcore-ish taste in music. Fuck yeah!

I would say they split the difference between Smoke or Fire and the Loved Ones.

Sounds like 90's alt rock played at 150% speed. Not bad, but nothing that grabs me immediately.

It's decent, but i like trevors old band Fierce Brosnan ALOOOTTT better.

the backup vocals on this are way to processed. Main vocal's are pretty solid.

I've had their album for a couple weeks, it's really good. They sound to me like a perfect mix of The Knockdown, Waxwing, The Loved Ones, and The Gaslight Anthem.
