Suburban Home releases 2008 sampler

Suburban Home Records has released a free sampler looking back at the label's releasing over the 2008 calendar year. The set includes songs from Austin Lucas, Drag the River, Ghost Buffalo, In The Red, Joey Cape, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, Jon Snodgrass, Jr. Juggernaut, Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground, LaGrecia, Mike Hale, Ninja Gun, Scott Reynolds and The Steaming Beast, Stereotyperider, The Playing Favorites, The Takers, Tim Barry, Two Cow Garage and Useless I.D..

Yessir. Same thing almost happened with the D4 deluxe set from VC. I was on the road for work, I pulled the car over at a kinkos, went in for the internet and ordered the damn thing.

Suburban Home sent me a sampler with my Bear vs. Shark LP last week.

They've got more decent bands than I had given them credit for.

Suburban Home, without me noticing, became a really awesome label.

I fucking love Two Cow Garage. Speaking in Cursive is the only 2008 record close to The '59 Sound or CIVILWAR.

This label just keeps getting better. I just ordered Useless ID and Two Cow Garage. Can't wait for the William Elliott Whitmore 7" and the new Mike Hale and In the Red stuff.
