Gabe Saporta of Midtown and Cobra Starship fame is featured in a new anti-fur ad produced by PETA2. Saporta joins a growing list of musicians-including Rise Against, Dillinger Escape Plan, hellogoodbye, and Silverstein-who have teamed up with peta2.

i guess it depends on where you're coming from, many people wouldnt see any animals as worth more or less than any other, but although rabbits, chinchillas and mink are used, so are dogs, foxes...and you dont always know what time of animal was used. i think the sean john line claimed they used rabbit but it turned out it was dog fur.

It's great that any band is openly against animal cruelty and promotes veganism/vegetarianism, but as a vegan, it's embarassing that most of the bands mentioned on this site are usually shitty-radio hit bands.

peta is so fucked up. I work as a vet tech at a wildlife center and anyone who actually knows anything about animals knows that peta is full of shit. they have no respect for human life and are complete hypocrites. i urge everyone to educate themselves on the subject by doing some solid research

yeah i agree to a certain extent, peta has one agenda, are pretty extreme and are completely biased towards helping animals. they sometimes dont think about the impact on humans, but then again they only stand for one cause, then again its good to have organizations that call attention to animal rights
