Tim Barry to tour with Austin Lucas and Josh Small in February

Avail frontman Tim Barry recently announced tour plans for the new year. In February he'll hit the road in the United States with Suburban Home singer / songwriters Austin Lucas and Josh Small. Dates have not yet been announced, but the tour will run through April. Lucas and Small will each play their own sets, then collaborate with Barry during his.

Tim is supporting this year's full length Manchester, while his tour mates are supporting Putting the Hammer Down and Tall respectively. Tim Barry will also appear at the 2009 Harvest of Hope festival in St. Augustine, Florida with bands like Against Me!, Propagandhi, the Bouncing Souls, and Strike Anywhere.

Spectacular album, nothing they've done afterwards has touched that. They have some really great recent songs, but the albums as a whole are lacking.

I'd like to see people get some amps and play some rock music.

This was neat in passing, but I don't care to hear anyone's solo record ever again.

It's good stuff, don't get me wrong, but this everyone get together and have hillbilly time crap is getting old.

Im inclined to agree with a few others about all this solo shit,don't get me wrong i think Tim's two solo efforts are fantastic but every fucker is jumping on the bandwagon.

I saw Tim in Denver recently and it was a great show but to me,live anyway...just doesn't match up to seeing Avail play.

I was thinking of shaving my beard after the New Years Hot Water Music show, but now with the Harvest of Hope Fest and this Tim Barry tour announced I guess I'll be waiting another 3 months or so.
