Bad Religion announce St. Patrick's Day gig

According to their fan site. it appears Bad Religion will be heading for Tempe, Arizona on March 17. The tour takes place at the Tempe Beach Park, West Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe, AZ and Slightly Stoopid will open for them. A flyer for this show has also been posted, you can check it out here. The show will also be one Bad Religion's first concerts before they join Warped Tour this summer.

Bad Religion is currently writing their follow-up to New Maps of Hell, but according to bassist Jay Bentley, the band may not have a chance to record it until around the end of 2009, with 2010 release date expected. 2010 will also mark the 30th anniversary of Bad Religion's formation, which occured in 1980.

Thanks. I'm not a professional or anything. I just draw comics to pass the time and also to work through the emotional pain that I've been carrying around inside ever since I was molested by a janitor at Sea World. I was 26 at the time. That was 5 months ago.

Oh, you made that? That's awesome. I'm in the process of writing a comic book, which is sort of related I guess. I don't have the wit to make funny strips though. I used to, but then I got high.

Yes, I post at least one new one every week on my website. I just started posting them a few weeks ago, though, so there are only a dozen or so on there right now.

I self-published a full length comic book when I was 22, but that was more of a DIY exercise than a professional publishing effort.

I haven't really drawn much in the past 4 years (I lost all of my old art files in Hurricane Katrina in 2005), so I'm still a bit rusty at the moment.

If you'd like, I can shit in a can and record it with a tape recorder. I can then send you the shit and tape. You get not only the visual shit in the can, but the audio recording...it's pretty much the full package.

I remember everyone used to make fan sites back in the day. Every band had one, and they were usually better than the official website. I tried once, but it was a Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young fan site, and no one ever bothered to check it out.

I'm somewhat interested, been awhile since they've been through and not been on Warped. Also, a bit surprised as the past few years Flogging Molly has played in Phoenix/Tempe on St. Patricks Day. This is definitely better at least.

So whats with all the Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3 comments? I thought the gaming world was all about Left 4 Dead at the moment. I mean...Fallout 3 looks amazing and all, and Gears is so frusterating to play its not even funny, but everyone I know is just jizzing all over the place about Left 4 Dead. Personally, The Orange Box is STILL keeping me satisfied. If I could only find a woman that could keep me so thoroughly satisfied and entertained as long as the Orange Box has I would marry her.
