The Riverdales add Blueheels drummer, potentially announce shows

The recently reunited Riverdales have named their new drummer. Dan Lumley will not be returning and the new member will be Blueheels bassist Adam Cargin.

Cargin has posted two dates on his MySpace page, although they do not appear on the Riverdales': April 16th at an unnamed venue and April 18th at Reggie's in Chicago.

Actually they're really good. I would suggest the album Visions Of Gandhi, specifically "Blood In, Blood Out" and "Rise Of The Machines". Their lyrics aren't meant to be taken seriously though, so don't be offended, as pretty much everyone is.

You're probably right, I'm just not really into that type of music at all. To their credit, I saw them last year and they were really tight so maybe rap fans would dig them. I retract my earlier statement.

If you know me, you know how much it takes for me to say this, but seriously, fuck the fuck right off after those last shows of sitting on the drum riser and berating the less than half capacity crowd to buy shitty merchandise whie playing a half assed set that even your band admits sucked.

Way to realize that you already milked your cash cow dry and that the only way you can draw new fans is by billing it as The Riverdales instead of a solo show. Let's see how long this lasts until it's run dry too.
