they are all only vegetarians... trust me. and its not really that hypocritical cause they've never told anyone to "go vegan" and their lyrics mostly revolve around the stupidity of humans (or their anti-human stance).

Being a vegetarian still means you're supporting the raping of cows and all that fun stuff... their anti-meat lyrics always came off as like Peta tenfold. This is coming from a vegetarian too.

they realize the difference between being vegetarian and vegan. the thing is they had one vegan in the band (gabe, who left a long time ago) and ever since they've been falsely labeled as a vegan band when they've never claimed that they were, and end up receiving a lot of flack for it.

I was just flipping through a box of random oooold stuff that I found at my parents' house. One of the things that I came across was a Hopeless Records distro catalog 'zine from a few years back called "2001: A Punk Oddity." Non-gloss, black & white, and the "letters page" contained scans of hand-written fan mail. There were interviews with Scared of Chaka and The Selby Tigers and a review that described The Nobodys as "Bad Religion meets Rancid in the pit."

I wonder what a Hopeless Records distro catalog looks like these days?
