Crust/metal act Kylesa have posted a new track from their upcoming album. The record is titled Static Tensions and is due out March 17, 2009.

Oh I see her. Is it just me, or do all these girls look like the not quite white trash girls that you see walking around a college campus but never actually on the campus because they don't actually attend there? You know, like when you're leaving the parking lot in your car, there they are, walking down the street along the perimeter of the school property. Those girls.

This may seem like an odd question but I'm transferring schools and one of them is probably out of my reach, but I'm still going to put everything I possibly can down on the extra curriculars seciton...

Anyway, how many people do you think read each review on Punknews? I have to assume only a small percentage actually comment on it. I know it changes by popularity of the band being reviewed, but for example, a bigger market band, say The Bouncing Souls, how many people do you guys think read the reviews?

I'd assume the number of comments to be average. Yes I know they're not always referencing the album but that would make up for those who don't comment but read them.

I don't think if say, an album has 6 comments that means only 6 people read it.

Well I know definitely people do that, I know I do. But like I said, I don't think say, 6 comments consisting of 4 real comments and 2 just sounding off represents only 2 other people that read the review and didn't comment.

Who knows. Unless you have an idea of how many people visit the website or the review pages, there's no real way to even guess. I would just say that you're a reviewer on a music website etc. Unless you need the number for another reason.

a TON more people read than comment. for example, my 2008 staff year-end list was viewed 7646 times after about 5 days of being online. granted, the year-end lists are the most viewed, but it still shows the discrepancy between views and posts.

Awesome...Great artwork too, but what do you expect from a genius like John Dyer Baizley? Anybody know If the new record getting the vinyl treatment on Havoc?....It all seems very secreative at the moment, Havoc haven't even hinted at it coming out on there.
