Dave Garwacke (If You Make It, Pink Couch Sessions, Halo Fauna), Jeff Rosenstock (Bomb the Music Industry!, Kudrow, Quote Unquote Records) and Pat Schramm (Bridge and Tunnel, Latterman) have recently started a new design collective called Twin Cuts. The three freelance designers are aiming to bring cheap and unique designs to fellow musicians and artists as well as plan to curate events that merge art shows with punk rock shows.

The first time I tangoed with Everclear, I wound up regretting it for a long, long time afterwards. I had heart burn for three days, and all I did was take straight shot. I guess theres a warning on the label advising strongly against that.

Mine is hilarious. As a breed they are kind of aloof anyway, but she was well taken care of on the track, she won a lot (her racing name sucked) then she broke her toe and was sent for adoption. We scooped her up. 200 for a fast dog rules. Watching her run is pretty incredible.

I wanted to suggest a game. It's not like Fallout at all or anything, but the story and game play for me, has made this my favorite game I've ever played. It's called Indigo Prophecies, and maybe I'm completely alone, but that game was just so bad ass.

It incorporated Simon Sez into it, too.

PS2, but it was on PC and I think Mac, too. I saw your mentioned you have the Ps3, so I'm pretty sure it has the backwards compatibility to handle it as well. You might wanna also check out FEAR, but again it's not like Fallout. It's just a really intense game, and it's almost insulting to just call it a shooter. But it's on PC, too.

Fallout really seems to stand on it's own, I think. But Oblivion is probably the best way to go , in terms of it being in a similar vein, etc.

fallout 3 is an extension of oblivion. Bishock is from the same guys that made the rpg/ fps genre popular with System Shock 2. if anything i would stomach the outdated graphics and play system shock 2 or deus ex before getting bioshock.

Deus Ex. It might be 8 years old now, but it's incredible. I have no idea why no one ever expanded on the idea of this game.

Fallout 3 is very unique though....and completely awesome. The new DLC was fun, can't wait for them to raise the level cap.

might be x-box but definite for the PC. its the only reason why get pc games, for the mods and new levels people come out with. after a year when cod2 came out people started making maps for it and now there were more than 100 quality multiplayer maps.

Question for you gentlemen;

With my tax refund, I plan on getting 1) a tattoo and 2) a nice pair of headphones. What sort of headphones should I look for? I'd like some that will stay on my head while I'm biking/skating/fucking/etc., and I'd also like them to be loud enough that I can use them for practicing my drumming. My said I should get some by a company called Skullcandy, and he let me borrow a pair of his which are lower-end. They were comfortable but not tight enough, and frankly not loud enough either. They sounded pretty solid, however. They high- and mid-range sounded sharp and clear although the bass sounded a little fuzzy when cranked.

So anyway, what do you guys recommend? I'm willing to spend a decent amount for a pair like I described; tight-fitting and loud.

If you want something that never breaks, get skull candys series that are 60 bucks.

I dj for a living so i travel alot and I broke 3 pair of headphones in 2 months (good ones, sennheiser 200 dollar+ ones) in some way or another and a friend suggested skullcandy. They stay on your head but they bend and screw (head, bend, screw?!) in any direction and the parts that usually break can just be taken off then re-attached.

I'm so stoked about them. They sound pretty good too apart from the slightly fuzzy low mids. Never had a problem with volume either, even when not using a pre-amp and just plugging straight into whatever.
