FACT To release album in US via Vagrant/Maximum 10

Japan's FACT have unveiled plans to release their upcoming full length via Vagrant Records/Maximum on April 14, 2009. The 16-track set was recorded with producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette (Incubus, Story of the Year) and was mixed by Chris Lord Alge (Green Day, My Chemical Romance).

The band will be embarking on a US tour beginning March 14th. A song from the album and the tour dates can be found on their myspace page.

Everyone on Absolutepunk thought this was a viral marketing campaign until someone actually did research to see that there was a band named FACT already out there.

Who booked this tour? Scranton and Allentown, but no Philly? and I'm not from the west coast, but I never even heard of the cities they are playing in CA.

its called a small market tour. bands usually tour smaller cities before a release and then bigger cities after the release.
