Reprise has unveiled plans to reissue some of Green Day's independent releases on vinyl this March. Both 39/Smooth and Kerplunk! will be reissued on March 24, 2009.

It's hard to believe Lookout Records fucked themselves up so much. They treated these records as if they were their cash cow... and deserved to fail.

Taking your releases from a failed indie to a major label seems like an awesome way to ensure you get paid your royalties.

Ummm most people probably got those on vinyl already the Lookout! LP's still appear on ebay for cheap, but still it's wise to keep it in print i guess. How about re-pressing Nimrod so people don't have to pay $130 for a copy? or even Shenanigans? These both go for serious money.
