Shane Smith rejoins SNFU, Chad Mareels out

SNFU has parted ways with with drummer Chad Mareels (Nasty On, the Black Donnellys, Dog Eat Dogma) and has re-enlisted drummer Shane Smith. Smith played with the veteran Western Canadian punk act from 2004 to 2006, and also performed with the Real McKenzies, Bif Naked and Neurosonic.

The band is headed to Europe in March and are planning to record the follow up to 2004's In The Meantime And In Between Time.

They are the shit live,really good...as for albums,the first three are my personal faves...'And no one else wanted to play'...'if you swear you'll catch no fish' and 'better than a stick in the eye'....all those albums came out in the mid-late 80's.'Something green and leafy this way comes' was good too.

among the other albums listed, check out fyulba..great fuckin' album, and yes, insanley fun live..mr chi pig is nuts! as for the canadian remark..thank you. i'd like to think on an individual level, we are nicer..but group mentality can fuck things up for us as much as it can for americans, or anyone else...

I think they still have a player on snfu.com that streams about 10 songs that span their career. Check 'em oot, eh! If you like melodic skate punk, and strange, twisted humour, you'll like this band better than maple syrup.

Also, look out for a documentary soon becuase Chi Pig has been followed around by a guy with a camera for the past 2 years.

one of mine used to be like that, well actually he still is, he bit the crap out of my ankle and then I scolded him really bad, but then later that night at around 2 a.m. he attacked me in the middle of my sleep and bit my nipple, so watch out
