Media: Tombs: "Winter Hours"

Recent Relapse signing, Tombs, have posted a stream of their Relapse debut. The record is titled Winterhours and was released on February 17, 2009 The atmospheric hardcore outfit previously released Tombs on Black Box/Level Plane. Our review described the band as "brooding, shoegazey, metallic hardcore bombast."

This album is pretty awesome. I first dismissed it as pretty bland, but I'm hooked.

"up and coming?" pretty sure i haven't heard a juliana hatfiled song in 15 years. not to mention the souls are in their 20th year.

This made me laugh. And since when were the Souls, Wyclef Jean and Ted Leo "up and coming" artists? They've all been around for awhile...

Some really fancy guitar work going on here.... I could see these guys touring with Isis or Big Business

Vocals are pretty cool too...
