You know there are a ton of annoying things i see in forums that just get under my skin as far as stupidity goes. Like people who feel the need to type "FIRST" when they are the first responder to an item. But nothing tops how fucking annoying it is when asshats think it's so clever to post something in a thread that is totally unrelated to the story.

My question is why do I only see it here in these forums? and "looking at Chartreuse" what kind of kicks do you get out of doing this? It's not clever, it's by any means entertaining, it just makes you look stupid. I just don't get it.

One of the consistantly great live bands out there right now. My favorite DKM stuff was with Mike McColgan anyway, so it made perfect sense that the Street Dogs would be just as good, if not better and to me, I'm right. I see them whenever I can, can't wait for the new album.

i'm 24 and after a shitty breakup went from 180 to 166 pounds. i've stopped losing weight but i am still a little flabby. how can i harden up my mid section. crunches seem to be working only real slow and really it's not that much. i drink a lot of beer. is my only option to quit all the booze. i do lots of running. 4 miles 5 times a week. any suggestions on how to stop this plateau i've hit and get a little more hard/lean?

I don't think people do that to be clever at all...it's just the nature of an internet forum. Punknews, being a news site, doesn't have the traditional layout where the users start threads, but it does have a traditional member base and many other aspects of a traditional forum as far as discussion goes. So the discussions have to originate elsewhere, and the layout of this forum forces them to end up in the comments of the posted news stories. Generally in the ones not many people here care much about.

This board would be boring as hell if every comment/discussion only had to do with the story therein.I don't think people do that to be clever at all...it's just the nature of an internet forum.
