Screw 32 reunion in the works

Screw 32 has announced their plans to do a reunion, though no date has yet been confirmed. The band had to say the following:

I know this has looked like it might happen before, but this time we FINALLY have everyone on board and it is going to happen. Stay tuned for more details, dates, times, line-up et cetera. Be ready to be there and to jump from the stage!
Andrew Champion and SCREW32

The bands final release was 1997's Under The Influence Of Bad People on Fat Wreck Chords. Members of the band went on to form Shadowboxer, One Time Angels, and others.

I first saw these guys open for Bouncing Souls in '95.

They were a really great band. Their first LP "Unresolved Childhood Issues" on Wingnut was classic.

Weird. I was actually listening to 'Under the Influence' last night as I was reading the article about Last FM. I was thinking "what a slow news weekend it's been". It was totally random that I picked that cd to listen to becuase I hadn't heard it in over a year prior to that.

Also, if there are any bands you guys want to see do a reunion, just let me know and I'll listen to them on Sunday night. We'll see how many reunions get announced on Monday.

If the Screw 32 re-union is a go, then it is news to the rest of the members of the band. Unless Andrew has just gotten all new people to play with him under the band name, which I don't think would be the case. Sure a re-union is possible, but nobody else from the original band is working on one at this time.

I love how it gets put on me, just FYI, I was the last to hear about it, so maybe correct your posting because it is WAY off base and poorly informed. I heard through a friend that Eddy Numbskull had spoke with Doug and that he said he might be into a reunion. Keep in mind, I am married and very busy with work, another band, and many other things and a Screw32 reunion is THE LAST THING in the entire world short of dying that I would like to do right now, but I was assured that Doug was into it. Previously Mark and Grant had said they would do it, Jimi had said he would do it the other two times we had tried to get the members to act like adults and play nice, so I figured it wouldn't be too much to assume that he might be into it. Seeing as Doug and Grant had always been the issue before and that Doug had allegedly said he was into it, I felt it safe to say that it might be a go. So, just for future, reference, please don't involve me in any more false starts with this very much ended band. It is very safe to say I WILL NEVER, EVER, do a reunion with Screw32, no hard feelings, I just don't really want to try on clothes I wore almost twenty years ago, it isn't cute any longer. It's funny that (If the posting was written by a member of SCREW32) that they would think that I would have any ill intentions, want to play with anyone other than original members, or would go ahead without every single persons consent. Far more trouble than it is worth, I just wanted to have fun and play music (Still do) and not have some grand ego hassle, I knew there was a reason I quit the band.

Hello, Andrew Champion here, no, there won't ever be a Screw 32 reunion, I am not sure where the person who posted the false information previously got their information from, or the person who suggested that I might do a reunion with anyone other than the original members but they are sorely mistaken and misinformed.

No reunion, EVER. Not with me at least. Sorry everyone. Hey, at least we are still all pretty much playing music so you can check us out in other bands, and just remember kids, bands break up for a reason.
