So Many Dynamos announce Vagrant debut

So Many Dynamos have set a release date, title and other details for their forthcoming Vagrant Records debut. The record is titled The Loud Wars and is due out April 28, 2009. It is the follow-up to Flashlights which was released in 2006.

Aside from this...

Out of boredom from being home since my son was born, when he sleeps my wife and I take in TV and what not.. Today was stupid One Tree Hill, which have never watched until today and it was an episode in which one of the two hot chicks on the show (the blonde one) goes to some party at a college and walks by this guy's dorm room that has a shitload of vinyl in there and she walks in and some dude is sitting there smoking and she goes through the records and pulls out Milo Goes To College.... she says "This is a good album!" and the guys responds with "You know who the Descendents are??? Do you wanna listen to it?" She says "Sure" and they cut to other scene and when they get back, they are listening to some shitty group like seether or something. To top it off, he had a Planes Mistaken For Stars poster right next to a Disturbed poster... if that just wasn't the most artificial, made-for-tv set ever. Fuckin television. After seeing this, I decided it was more entertaining watching my son sleep.

milo goes to college is a good album, though. she was right!

this show is notorious for this kind of thing. i think i've seen that exact same episode, i'm embarrassed to say. doesn't that dude rape her or something crazy?

there's another episode where that same girl's room is shown and she has a small brown bike poster. the very same sbb poster that i have hanging up. hot water music has been name dropped on this show as well.

i don't know, i think it's kind of interesting that these awesome bands are mentioned that no one watching/acting in/following has any clue about.
