Brooklyn, New York's Thorns of Life will be entering the studio with J.Robbins (Jawbox, Burning Airlines), for their debut album. The band (as it may have been mentioned before) is the collaboration of Blake S. (Jets to Brazil, Jawbreaker), Aaron Elliott (Crimpshine, Cometbus) and Daniela Sea (The Gr'ups, The L Word), and you can read about it at The A.V. Club.

I haven't heard any of the Youtube video songs or anything, but this sounds like it's going to be awesome. Not a fan of their name.

Who watched Jimmy Fallon last night? He did alright, made me laugh a few times. Slow Jammin' the News is gonna be a winner for sure.

Can't wait. I think I've liked everything Blake has done--even Four-Cornered Night and Perfecting Loneliness. They played a show near me just before they broke up, but it was 21+ and I could not get in at the time.

I'm missing Off With Their Heads tonight.
