that movie always makes me nostalgic. That feel of being in school in summer where it's not really school and the world is going on around you and it's hot and the beach and you kindof bond with the other people more.

McGruff the crime dog has been roughed up.

D.C. police said the mascot, who urges children to "take a bite out of crime," became a victim Saturday when a bus driver punched him in the face as he handed fliers to children. Police said the 38-year-old Metro bus driver, climbed off the bus, adjusted both sideview mirrors and then swung at Officer Tyrone Hardy, who was dressed as McGruff.

Police said McGruff staggered, children screamed and the bus driver drove off. Officers quickly pulled him over and charged him with assault.

Funny how most of the replies around this post are about the aesthetics of the band. Reminds me of the closed-minded douch-bag jocks I hated in high-school. These guys are really good at what they do, and the two of them I have met are really sweet guys. Just because they don't look exactly like you, and aren't wearing shirts designed by some Horsebites knock-off doesn't mean they should just be so immediately discounted. Seems some of you who champion yourselves "punk enthusiast" totally missed the point of punk to begin with...

yeah, because the beginnings of 'punk' had nothing to do with fashion, nor has anything punk since then, or, I don't know, any music for that matter...
I'm pretty sure the negative response towards the way these guys look has to do with the fact that they are manufactured to appear exactly like the prevailing aesthetic of popular 'punk'-ish bands these days...ie angular haircuts and tight, big-text t-shirts. Which generally denote the band is going to sound like the same crap that FUSE plays in constant rotation, i.e. these guys.

The "Fat" kid on the far right is kinda ripped actually. This is why you don't take pictures from the ground up. No one looks good. There is only 1 fat kid, and he writes the songs. Not that it matters but... thought I'd set the record straight.
