So basically about a month or two ago I got asked to book a show in Austin for several bands (including one that basically got me into punk), so I was super stoked because I was told my band would get to play. I called around, looking for places to play, and found one. I told the guy who asked me to book the show the place, to which he said he didn't want to play there and he said he would book it himself. This worried me, but I had faith that my band would still be playing. Just found out today that he booked the show in San Antonio, and the touring band is opening for someone else, so I'm assuming we're not playing. I know that his allegiance wasn't really to me, but to the touring band (which is cool), but I still feel a little cheated. Should I feel this way? What should I do?

My friend tells me there's a sped-up version of "Skyway" by The Replacements. Is this true?

I love this band. And does anyone else love BTMI new one as much as me??

So it's a Bobby Charles song.. I thought it was by Fats Domino.

I know I said I didn't really get why everyone liked these guys so much, but now, I 'm not sure.... Great Fucking Cover

gotta give credit to Mario Framingheddu, he really uses the HV30 to it's fullest.

Damn, nice cover by OWTH. Those guys never disappoint.
Nap (March 14, 2009)
Well, this song is originally by Fats Domino (1961), not Bobby Charles (1972)

Honestly - not that into it. I think Ryan could have a better deliver and sense of rhythm with the words. It felt a bit too much like he was reading from a lyric sheet.

It's no Joe cover, but I like it for what it is.
