Off with Their Heads were shot recording a cover of the Bobby Charles Fats Domino song "Before I Grow Too Old." The song was popularized in the punk community after Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros covered it on their final album Streetcore .

The video was recorded for Mike Davies' Show on BBC Radio One.

So basically about a month or two ago I got asked to book a show in Austin for several bands (including one that basically got me into punk), so I was super stoked because I was told my band would get to play. I called around, looking for places to play, and found one. I told the guy who asked me to book the show the place, to which he said he didn't want to play there and he said he would book it himself. This worried me, but I had faith that my band would still be playing. Just found out today that he booked the show in San Antonio, and the touring band is opening for someone else, so I'm assuming we're not playing. I know that his allegiance wasn't really to me, but to the touring band (which is cool), but I still feel a little cheated. Should I feel this way? What should I do?

He thought you had hookups but when your proposal wasn't better than his original idea he just decided to carry on doing it himself.

You shouldn't feel cheated because you didn't actually contribute. Suck it up and go work on your band.

my little brother works at a shell service station on sanibel island (hoity toity vacation barrier island 5 minutes from my house) here and today he was pumping gas for this guy and he notices a U of minnesota ring on his finger and my brother asks about it and it's a ring from the 1962 Rose Bowl Championship team this guy was on. Apparently he's fairly invovled still and gave the team a speech before the insight bowl this year and whatnot.

Honestly - not that into it. I think Ryan could have a better deliver and sense of rhythm with the words. It felt a bit too much like he was reading from a lyric sheet.

how much money you looking to spend? and what do you need it for?
for the $1000 and under range my recommendation is the Canon HV-30 (i think it's around $600 now) or just wait in a month for the HV-40 to come out (going to be around $1000)
