Shadows Fall have parted ways with Atlantic Records and announced the formation of their own label through Warner Music's Independent Label Group and Ferret Records. The label will release the band's new full length in the fall. Vocalist Brian Fair explained:

ll of us in Shadows Fall could not be more excited about our new working relationship with ILG and Ferret Records. We have always been a band that tried to maintain as much control over our career as possible and this new deal gives us just that. The music industry is changing drastically and to stay one step ahead we knew we needed a new business model and perspective.
