311 has announced 2009 dates for their annual Unity Tour. The 25-city trek kicks off June 5th and will feature support from Ziggy Marley. The band recently announced plans for a new album, Uplifter, due out June 2, 2009.

A lot of my friends are potheads and love this band, I never got too into them but I went last year anyway at the behest of my friends. Plus I thought it'd be interesting seeing Snoop Doggy Dog. We had lawn tickets, it's an excuse to drink and smoke in public so whatever, I had fun.
