Basement signs The Scarred

Basement Records have signed Long Beach, California's The Scarred. The band has already scheduled their debut for the label. The record is titled At Half Mast and is due out June 23, 2009.

Step down, when was the last time punkcore did anything. Plus the last like 4 releases from Basement have ruled. check out their bands, Vultures United & Bullet Treatment are better then anything from punkcore. all that aside the Scarred have always been a cool band look forward to hearing this. yee hey.

what, you work for this label? or do you play in one of their bands? none of them (including the ones you mentioned) come even close to the casualties, the virus, cheap sex, a global threat, etc.

I believe Dave from Punkcore is more focused on his metal / thrash label right now. I know the label is struggling to stay afloat slightly before the new Total Chaos CD/Download. Last I heard, Dave is interested in selling Punkcore.

Again, one of the great labels with tons of history struggling with the changes in the music biz....
