Clues (Arcade Fire, Unicorns): “Remember Severed Head”

Clues, the new project from Alden Penner of The Unicorns and Brendan Reed of The Arcade Fire have debuted the first single from their forthcoming album. The record is titled Clues and is due out May 19, 2009.

The song is titled "Remember Severed Head" and is currently only available through a NPR Feature.

The only Arcade Fire I care about now is the song in the Where the Wild Things Are trailer.

That is a darn good song. I like Neighborhood #1 also. The rest of the stuff I can pretty much take or leave. I really want to like them, but meh.

That preview with that song totally rocks my balls, btw. Epic.

I like the Arcade Fire, but I don't love them. I think Neon Bible is good, but it's only a casual listen for me.

dude that trailer was awesome

i am not into arcade fire, i find them generally boring. also, they are the most overrated band going right now, i think. it seems like every time arcade fire takes a dump, a thousand 'bloggers' write about it. same was true with sufjan stevens for awhile, and lately, animal collective.

then again, i guess we do the same thing with against me, gaslight, etc.

Maybe I just haven't given them a fair enough shake, but Arcade Fire to me are like the Talking Heads, only without a sense of humor.
