Apocalypse Hoboken announce reunion show

Chicago's Apocalypse Hoboken have announced a reunion show this August. The band will be reuniting at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL on August 21st.

The band reunited last December for a charity event and before that in 2006. They split up the first time in 2002. Keep an eye on mpshows.com for more details on the show.

These guys have been reuniting a decent amount lately. They should just reunite for good, what's another band for Todd on top of the twenty others he is in?

Oh, I wish I could get to Chicago for this show. I loved AH. They played at a campus record store at Ball State while I was attending and they crashed at my fraternity house. That was a hellafun time!

I saw quite a few shows there myself. When did you attend BSU? I thought that record store went out of business or something.

I was @ BSU 97-01. This show was September 1998. I don't even remember the name of the record store but it is indeed closed. The tattoo shop moved up there soon thereafter but I'm not even sure that's there anymore. Wow, that takes me back! Nice user name. Were you a student there too? Don't know if it's still inprint, but pick up the Date Rape Nations/ Jerk Lessons album...other than that maybe Microstars is their most accessible....but really you can't go wrong if you like off the wall snotty rock music. I don't know if I'd really call them punk rock towards the end they were a little too weird to fit into that genre.

Yes! Yes it is! I believe "I'm So Happy When I'm Hating" holds the #4 spot on my "most played" list on my iPod. I also believe Apocalypse Hoboken's "Hello Hello", "Somebody's New News" and "Little Fingers" are in the top 20 as well.
