TheMike (March 26, 2009)

My favourite was the Trail of Dead album.

Spooky (March 26, 2009)

Me too. Barely missed them at Radio Room at SXSW too. Got to hear Far Pavilions though.

TheMike (March 26, 2009)

That's a wicked song. Took some time to grow on me, but when it did, it became one of my favourite from the album.

Holy_Balls (March 26, 2009)

my brother went to check out the line for them and he said it wasn't worth to wait since it was so long. i was bummed as hell i missed them.

Spooky (March 26, 2009)

Yeah, the line on saturday at Emo's was massive. Badge and wristbands only, which was kind of lame. Plus, on friday when I left Red 7 after D4 and couldn't get back into the Bouncing Souls show, I found out later that TOD was playing near that time when we were doing basically nothing. Bullshit..

lostandclowned (March 26, 2009)

"Distractions" is alright. Kind of on the bland side, though.

mattp330 (March 26, 2009)

i agree

rebeccaa (March 26, 2009)

I'm confused by no BTMI!

alpod4 (March 26, 2009)

very strange

Neill_Cawley (March 27, 2009)

It's overrated, I'm gay, and it came out in March.

I'm going to go have sex with Ricky and Tom now. Not that other guy I live with, I forgot his name.

keepinitrealzzz (March 26, 2009)

this guy is wayyyyyyy stoked on fake problems being number 1, american dream

baldsteve (March 26, 2009)

Lily allen what the fuck?

Distractions? Best track was Spy Diddley, free from the fat xmas comp

miniblindbandit (March 26, 2009)

get back to work.

binaural111 (March 26, 2009)

i had a weird dream and u were in it. really came out from nowhere. u were a really fierce guy and went around terrorizing people and spouting fluent japanese.

baldsteve (March 27, 2009)

Excellent. The plan is working! Funny enough, I know japanese, I've been letting myself slide on it the last couple of years though.

binaural111 (March 27, 2009)

You were wearing some crazy spy outfit with "baldsteve" stitched on the front pocket, that's how I knew it was you. And you looked really tall like 6 ft 5. I think I should stay away from the org a bit before more and more people appear in my dream/nightmare.

I-type-poorly (March 26, 2009)

Fake Problems for sure. Best thing I've heard so far this year actually.

NewKid (March 26, 2009)

Fake Problems, POS, O' Pioneers!!, Lilly Allen have all been rocking my ipod this year. I have the Thursday cd also but haven't really listened to it yet.

Eric

miniblindbandit (March 26, 2009)

i haven't rated anything in so long.

HOISTDATRAG (March 26, 2009)

Anyone else set 9AM Every Morning as their alarm? Great song

blue_drink (March 26, 2009)

I have the whole album on my MP3 player, and just that.

9 AM Every Morning is definitely great.

K-San (March 27, 2009)

So good, indeed.

For some reason I always go to Saved By the Bell was a Super Good Show, even when it's on shuffle for the first song of the day.

I met the dude down in Texas once and crashed at his former bandmates' house when we were on tour. Cool guy for sure, was shocked that he was so normal. Usually people are all about themselves, but he sure as hell was with it.

seeingred (March 26, 2009)

Napalm Death

scientistrock (March 26, 2009)

Black Lips.

scientistrock (March 27, 2009)

INDW (March 27, 2009)

and I don't know man. I really got into good bad not evil but I'm not getting this one yet. A couple of very good tracks - short fuse, i saw god but not as good. You think its a grower?

Cheesetits (March 26, 2009)

POS should be tops, easily.

andrewking (March 26, 2009)

The Passenger Action S/T that was streaming here not long ago is my favourite disc from February - probably the whole year. Just gorgeous, with a lot of surprisingly killer vocal melodies and great lyrics.

Check 'em out if you can.

Irish_Punk_Is_Gimmickry (March 26, 2009)

God damn, this list is terrible. It actually gets progressively WORSE as it gets closer to the top.

nocigar (March 26, 2009)

yea and you're an idiot. i bet you haven't even heard over half of these albums

Holy_Balls (March 26, 2009)

i've been listening to that faunts album like a mad bitch lately. 'it hurts me all the time' is my jam at the moment.

24HourPriapism (March 26, 2009)

gee i wonder what's going to be the favorite album for march.

[/deadpan]

scientistrock (March 26, 2009)

I know, MC Lars is a shoe in.

Hey_Asshole (March 27, 2009)

obviously it will be that Lemon Lime Tennis Shoe record!
(did i get that band name right? ever since i posted it, i keep thinking about Retards Making Pancakes)

binaural111 (March 26, 2009)

William Elliott Whitmore was band of the moment!
sex sex sex sex sex mm

BossDJ (March 27, 2009)

I have numbers 2 and 3. They are both great, but I think that P.O.S. was probably a bit better than Thursday. Plus, where the fuck is Bomb the Music Industy! I want to pay my rent in fun.

scientistrock (March 27, 2009)

I think records are monthed by the month the review was written in. Did that review happen in feb?

shanholtzer (March 27, 2009)

that lymbyc systm shit should be #1 and all of you should commit suicide

THORNSOFLIFE (March 27, 2009)

first of all what the fuck is Lilly Allen doing on that list?
2nd O Pioneers!!! should have been 1st.

Colder_Than_You (March 27, 2009)

its great to be alive was kinda disappointing.
how far our bodies go was a lot better.

ChokingVictim (March 27, 2009)

DrewXFishy (March 27, 2009)

INDW (March 27, 2009)

Dear Mr. Admin people,

Can we please get some sort of link on these stories so that they are all in one place and we can go back and find them once they drop off the front page a la naval gazing?

thanks.

EternalCowboy (March 27, 2009)

The Airing of Grievances [reissue]

You know, there really aren't enough references to Festivus. I need to listen to that just because of the title.

FESTIVUS IS NOT OVER UNTIL YOU PIN ME!

Archangel (March 27, 2009)

No Defeater?
