Converge post teaser video

Boston, MA's Converge have posted a teaser video of a song from their upcoming album. No other details besides the album coming out on Deathwish, Inc. / Epitaph Records have been announced yet, but the video features the band playing an instrumental version of a new song live in the studio.

The band last released No Heroes in 2006.

Which releases were lousy? You Fail Me and No Heroes were rad. But then again, so were Jane Done, When Forever Comes Crashing, Petitioning the Empty Sky, and even their b-sides album, Unloved and Weeded Out.

Then again, maybe you're thinking of a different band.

Ya, you are right. I am thinking of a different band. Look at the username? You Fail Me and No Heroes were mediocre at best. Best songs they put out was the Pacher Diaries. Jane Doe is the best album front to back by far. This teaser is more along the lines of the real converge, not Epitaph converge.

disagree. No Heroes was great. even the slow song with the dude from only living witness was great.

You Fail Me was kind of a wash, but even kinda meh Converge is better than the best from most bands.

Disagree. I honestly think You Fail Me is ridiculously underrated. It's my personal favorite of theirs.

But I will agree, this video makes me want this album... now.

Mr. Cool guy, I am simply voicing an opinion as to how I view Converge, and the direction they are moving in is not what I have been listening to since I was, lets say, 12. When Dalbec left the band it kinda started getting more and more meh. There are plenty of great jams on both records, but as I said, this is the direction they should have never strayed from. So Mr. Cool Guy is telling you to show some tits or GTFO

I could never get into these guys, but they are the least offensive band on Epitaph, so I guess they "win."

I liked the Life Aquatic and What About Bob? shirts because they are subtle.

I was hoping for a 'motherboy' shirt, but the 'Hero Squad' one is excellent.
