After filling in as guest drummer on dates with TSOL Dave Raun of Lagwagon will be joining Black President full time replacing drummer Roy Mayorga. His new bandmates commented:
Dave is a badass… We stayed at his house when our van broke down in Fresno on the Warped Tour and it just clicked. He came in, killed it on the TSOL tour, and has brought a whole new energy to the band. Roy is an old friend and amazing drummer who will definitely be missed. We wish him all the best and there are no hard feelings.
The band will be supporting Bouncing Souls next month.

Dave is the biggest whore in the drumming world. He's awesome though. You definitely know he loves doing what he's doing.

I haven't got too into these guys yet, but everything I've heard from them is solid, good shit. I doubt this will change a whole lot with them.

great drummer for a pretty decent band. saw them in chicago a few months back and they ripped it.

good thing for the wagon that it doesnt take too much to learn all their drums, since they're basically all the same on every song. |
