Jimmy Eat World to release "Clarity Live" album

Jimmy Eat World, will release a digital-only live album recorded from the Tempe, Arizona date of the recent "Clarity Tour." As with other dates on the run, the band celebrated the 10 year anniversary of Clarity by performing the entire album.

The digital album will be available directly from the band on jimmyeatworld.com and will include the entire live performance of Clarity as well as two encore songs.

The media will be available in MP3, FLAC, Apple Lossless, 44.1/16bit WAV, 48k/24bit WAV and be bundled with a digital booklet and some photos. It is due out April 7, 2009. The same day, the band is promising to stream on of their recent live performances beginning at 6pm PST.

Did anyone else get the recent vinyl reissue of Clarity? It's huge.

Good lord, that album is so good. I'm absolutely gutted I couldn't make it to these shows, but I'm glad they've done this.

I have a hard time seeing him as such a drastic improvement over Orton who seemed to have the respect of the team. I wanted him for the vikings when this all started going down but the last week I've changed my tune. They can have him.

I think Orton was more a Bears qb. But Cutler is a better qb. I'm interested to see what Cutler can do with essentially no one at wide receiver. But at least he has a running back in Forte.

I really wanted the Lions to trade for him, but with all the Bears gave up (Orton isn't even a bad QB, why do Bears fans shit on the guy so much?) I'm feeling a little better about the Lions missing out. As long as they don't draft one of those shit qb's with the first pick, I'll be alright.

Shit, I would be happy with Orton as my teams starting qb. Fuck the Bears. I hope they find a way to go 0-17.

I never thought he'd go to Detroit since he was bitching so much about Denver. And yeah, I don't think Stafford of Sanchez are all that great. But then again I didn't think the over payed QB from the weak ACC conference in Matt Ryan would do anything. But yeah, Detroit should just draft that Baylor O lineman. They picked up a few good defensive free agents. Including my Anthony Henry who I had a love hate relationship with. And the bears won't go 0-17 with their weak ass division. 8-8 probably.

Matt Ryan did have the two-pronged attack of Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood to lean on as he learned. It also helped that Roddy White finally showed up. That team had some pieces. I'm still not sold on Ryan, but that's because I hate BC. You'd be hard pressed to get me to admit he's any good.

The Lions have done alright so far in the off-season. Picking up Maurice Morris and Julian Peterson might help. Draft a tackle and then defense with the 20th pick. They pretty much got the best deal of the year by trading Williams to the Cowboys. Those picks are going to help a lot.

Yeah im not a fan of Ryan. It pissed me off when he got that fat contract before playing a down in the NFL. And yeah he did have a lot of help. And god don't remind of that terrible trade. Roy Williams for a 1st and 3rd pick? Roy Williams is good no doubt. Top 10 receiver in the NFL. But he's a big possession receiver. Maybe a 2nd and 3rd rd pick but NOT for a 1st rd. Cowboys need speed at WR. And a reliable safety. and more depth at O line. and for the corners to not play so far off the fucking receivers.

Roy will no doubt be better this year now that TO is gone. He does get scared catching in the open field though.I don't think the Cowboys were expecting to trade such a good first round pick for him either. They thought they were going to win it all with all the money they spent. Maybe dropping the other Williams will help too. He's a pretty overrated safety. Plus, who doesn't need more depth at O-line? I would like to have a STARTING O-line that is half-way decent (grumble Lions grumble).

ha! I wish I could say this can't happen but they play in such a joke of a division it could actually happen with a 9-7 record. Cutler has no one to throw to. Their defense was crap last year. Just let Devon Hester take direct snaps and try to run 90+ yards every time.

i am getting a little ticked off with vinyl's resurgent coolness ... can a guy buy an LP for $10 anymore?

i love gatefolds and colored vinyl and 180g as much as the next guy, but sometimes you just want a piece of wax in a piece of cardboard, amirite? i had to buy a couple things on CD last night because the vinyl was prohibitively expensive, and that kinda sucks.

i get it, in some cases (hydrahead, southern lord, etc) they want to make this more than music and it becomes an artful presentation. i enjoy that. but cmon, can't i get "pet sounds" or "paranoid" for less than 20 bucks?

did score the adolescents LP and group sex for $9ea tho, so i can't complain.

also i hate jimmy eat world.
