“Orchard Vale” Tim Kinsella's directorial debut on DVD

I had An Accident Records have published a authorized bootleg of Tim Kinsella of Make Believe, Cap'n Jazz and Joan Of Arc's directorial debut, Orchard Value. The film is described:

Orchard Vale takes place in the near future in the American suburbs. The infrastructures of modern convenience have collapsed and the culture has descended into anarchy. Small groups band together to survive by whatever means they collectively can. Sophie, a 15 year old girl, supports her father Gus and her brother Archie, Archie's old best friend Harry and his sister Sabine, each of whom seeks comfort in his or her own constructed reality.

I am intrigued by this. I wish there was a clip of this somewhere to see if the quality is tolerable. I can't imagine Kinsella having that big of a budget to pull of a post-apocalyptic-type film.

they are my one of my fiancee's favorite bands along with fugazi and at the drive in. i love fugazi and at the drive in but can only barely get into cap'n jazz

You should probably check out ghosts and vodka, its members of joan of arc and capnjazz playing instrumental music.

Also the later joan of arc stuff has much better vocals.

but the vocals are to annoying in all the other chicago area bands, have you heard of the stella link? AMAZING

Ill have to check it out. I haven't even been to chicago in years, but I've been looking for bands out there to check out. I just checked out an amazing band on ifyoumake it that is like american football with out vocals called the august moon, check them out their guitar skills are amazing.
Im checking the org on my phone but ill totally check out your band when I get a chance

"Sophie" was a high school friend of mine. I went to the premiere for this. It was pretty good, but there were lighting problems that, hopefully, got fixed up since then.

This movie was fucking awful. I was excited to go see it at the premier, but I've seen better work from film school freshmen shooting in their dorms.
