He is Legend announce “It Hates You”

He Is Legend have announced that they will be releasing their next album via Tragic Hero Records. Their new record is titled It Hates You and is due out June 23, 2009.

i don't get the hate that record gets. yeah, it's not quite as good or varied as I am Hollywood, but it's on a par with their EP, and i think they kept the spooky vibe of IAH going quite well.

i for one can't wait for this, despite the terrible artwork. the four tracks they had as demos on myspace were badass. i just hope the mastering on this is more like SOtP (nice and dynamic) rather than IAH (MY EARS ARE BEING RAPED BY COMPRESSED NOISE!!!)

the movie was meh. the book was the real deal though. they should've gotten Kiefer Sutherland to be Robert Neville. and they should've had him die the correct way.

this band was good for about one song, in which they sounded like a cleaner every time i die. so basically at their best, they still sounded like a competent, yet unimpressive ripoff of another band.

apparently one or two of them are christian, but they were generally considered one of the only non-christian bands on solid state. apparently swearing and drinking were what got them kicked off that label...
