Insubordination Fest 2009 Pre-Show with Teenage Bottlerocket, Rational Anthem, Deep Sleep

Insubordination Fest has announced the lineup for the pre-show event taking place on Thursday, June 25th, 2009 at the Ottobar. The show will feature Teenage Bottlerocket, Deep Sleep, Rational Anthem, Short Attention, CBGaV, Challanged, Festipals, John Walsh, Loblaws, Max Levine Ensemble and Sick Sick Birds.

I have to work that thursday, I'm doing that so that I can get the Friday-Sunday off. I say it's a decent trade.

I'm sad that I'm missing the Ensemble too.

Also, I've never been to the venue, do they let you bring bags in? I'm definitely dressing up as Superman for Boris the Sprinkler, but would like to avoid wearing it all day if possible. That shit gets hot and sweaty as hell.

I'll be there for the rest. I'm gonna take off early on Friday and head up around 3 and just stay up there all weekend. No sense in driving back home every night. Plus I'll probably be too drunk to do so anyway

well, as someone who wears handkerchiefs around their neck, i can say that yes, i know about the homosexual codes that go along with them, but i wear them mostly because in canada where it's cold and windy at various times of the year, it's a great neck warmer/scarf, without having to die of heat from wool...i also do this when skiing... and surprisingly enough, they're handy to have around in the extreme heat as well, because they keep the sun off your neck, which then cools you down, and you can alwyas wet them to add to the coolness.

speaking though of douchebags who wear them for fashion purposes, i think those people are retarded...but that's my opinion..
