Circle Jerks to record album in June

Even though he dismissed the idea of a new album last year, the Circle Jerks' Greg Hetson has announced that they are aiming to record in June:

We have been working hard with Producer Dimitri Coats from the Burning Brides and are close to our goal of recording in June. We are all excited and think we have a classic sounding record that you will all enjoy. .Check out his band too...they rock!

With the exception of a single song released in 2007, the band has not released any new studio material since 1995's Oddities, Abnormalities, and Curiosities.

I think it depends on the timing. Timing is everything. First slice "yeah a giant mass of bread and cheese!!" but by the end of the second or third slice you're like "jesus now I have to eat a giant mass of bread and cheese?"

I love all Circle Jerks albums to varying degrees, even Oddities. Although, I really did appreciate their return to form with I'm Gonna Live. Also, this submission is inaccurate; they released a second new song on their myspace entitled The Slave, which kicks a fair amount of ass.
