Even though it's not the first - check your calendar, it isn't - the Bouncing Souls have posted a new song for the month of May. The track, "I Think That the World Is" can be streamed below and purchased on May 1st.

i am getting ready to go to cactus cantina and eat tacos myself.

although i may skip the tacos and get:
Camarones Brochette
Jumbo shrimp stuffed with cheese and jalapeno, wrapped in bacon, broiled and served on a sizzling platter.

mmm, bacon, shellfish, cheese, and jalapeno. 4 of my most favorite food groups.

The current incarantion of TSOL, however, is fucking awful, especially the interview which came with divided we stand which had Jack Grisham sat in a suit in a swanky office wearing sunglasses, surrounded by stuffed animals talking about how he didnt pay his taxes.

Fuck yeah! They played this song live last year, and I fell in love with it instantly. Glad it's finally available, and don't have to wait till Nov. or Dec. for it like I originally feared.

I love the souls, but so far each of these monthly tracks has felt really bland. And the last time they played here was tons of fun, but Greg was definitely beyond unengaged. It seems as though they're getting bored of themselves, to me.

That being said, even a "bored" Bouncing Souls show is still very high on my list of evening pastimes.

He's looked bored since about 1997. At least they played "I like you mom" last time I saw em.

Also seeing them play acoustic at 1pm in a pizza shop was freakin' rad. Greg is better when he's sitting down with a guitar in his hands.

at their acoustic show on record store store day, greg didn't look bored at all. that was one of the first things i noticed.

I've seen them once a year since 2001 (I know, not THAT old of a fan but enough to gather a big sample) and the last three shows they've done have been pretty lackluster. In fact the only reason why I was at the last two was because I was working.

Yeah, the last two I've seen were the same. But the kids that go out are still fun. Everyone singing along in the crowd is still a blast and plenty of reason to keep going for me.

I took two non-scene friends to see the last souls show, and afterward they summed it up perfectly from an outsider's perspective by saying that they both thought it was awesome despite the fact that the singer looked kinda bored.

since they announced the first of the month thing, i was all set to get up on my birthday morning and have a bouncing souls song as a gift! way to ruin it, souls.

anyways, i like it but i want a better sound quality.

I've been a Souls fan since Hopeless Romantic and have loved just about everything they put out, but all these new songs this year SUCK. Generic, bland, boring...

How anyone says 'Gasoline' is one of their best tracks is beyond me. This one sucks equally as hard. Glad they didn't release an album of all these throwaway B-sides.

The Bouncing Souls got me into punk music, and i didn't think the new songs have been bad so far, but after hearing this, i think the world is stupid for buying new bouncing souls records.

I'm gonna have to say NOFX's Coaster is better than this.
