This Is Hell leaves Trustkill

According to a Lambgoat report, Long Island-based hardcore outfit This Is Hell have parted ways with Trustkill Records.

The band released two albums via the largely metalcore-focused label, Sundowning in 2006 and Misfortunes in 2008.

I enjoyed Misfortunes but hated ordering from Trustkill. Plus, my order (like many I found out) was botched and I ended up receiving my pre-order way late and getting the same color of the record on two records. Not stoked.

Yeah, trustkill's mail order sucked for this album. I got the wrong color for my pre-order too.

Glad that they finally left, they were the only good thing on that label. Bridge 9 much?

I love TIH. Great band. I'm glad they're leaving Trustkill; after talking to some of the dudes, it may be the best for all involved. Maybe Epitaph, Deathwish, or Ferret should snag their next full-length.

Side note: I wasn't as stoked on "Misfortunes" as much as "Sundowning", but I still respect it. The drummer (who's now in Stray From The Path) told me he recorded the entire album's drum parts, and they got botched somewhere between studios. All his parts had to be re-recorded at another studio. Ouch.

Ferret and Trustkill have kind of a weird incestuous relationship so I wouldn't think it would work. Plus, Ferret's been leaning way more metal.
Epitaph is possible, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't Bridge 9 or Deathwish, although I think Bridge 9 is more likely.

Deathwish is more likely. TIH is already releases vinyl versions of their albums on Deathwish.

I know they have vinyl on Deathwish which is why I listed them. But, they're not as big a label and really haven't made any "high profile" signings, which B9 has, and this would be.

I live in Ohio and there isn't a Sizzler around. Has anyone ate at one? It seems like a place where dreams come true.
