Down By Law talks new album

Down By Law participated in a rare interview with some details on their forthcoming shows, plans, side-projects and more. Of particular note is plans to release a new album:

We're going to record a full-length for Jailhouse Records when we get back. It'll be a long slow process, but it'll happen. We've already recorded a few songs. One new one, "Bullets," is on our myspace page. We'll be playing that particular one on the road.

I'd say their first 4 cd's are great. If you like punk rock a la dag nasty, you'll like the self titled one (their first) and punkrockacademyfightsong a lot. If you're more into punk rock, but with slower song (rock song), you'll love blue or all scrathed up

The first one and punrockacademyfightsong are the ones to own. All scratched up was ok too I guess.

This band is definitely underrated. I think "All Scratched Up" is one of the most solid rock and roll-punk records from the '90s. I wasn't as stoked on any of their other albums, surprisingly enough. Glad to hear they're still at it.

P.S. Dag Nasty rules. Think they might throw another full length together? It's been 6-7 years since "Minority Of One".
