Three Mile Pilot reforms, signs to Temporary Residence

Three Mile Pilot, which features Zach Smith from Pinback,, Pall Jenkins (The Black Heart Procession) and Tom Zinser on drums, have reunited.

The band released Another Desert, Another Sea in 1997 and then went on a lengthy hiatus and forming The Black Heart Procession and Pinback. The band recently played a series of sold-out shows in their hometown of San Diego recently, and scheduling a short tour up the west coast this summer in preparation of their long-awaited new album, due for release in early 2010.

I've been, love that city...but I fucking hate Rain and Tropical weather. Austin still gets wacked by Hurricane type shit.

I've only been here about a year and haven't experienced any hurricane type shit yet... But there is a rainy season and the summer is humid as shit.

Yeah, if you're looking for mellow weather, it don't get much better than good ol SD. And the real reason you wanna move there is the Mexican food anyway, right?

I just moved to Laramie, WY from Asheville, NC and the weather here is so much better. Minus a few flurries and the wind constantly blowing at 20 mph, there is abundant sunshine and the humidity is either very low or nonexistent. Does wonders for ones bi-polar disorder.

Nah, i've been coming out here to visit friends for the past few years and i've always dug Laramie. Decided I needed a change so I packed up and left. Plus i'm going back to college next year and U of W sounded ideal.

I'm 30. I actually lived in Waynesville, but considering that no one outside of the area knows where the fuck that is, I just say Asheville.

I would also be excited. I saw Garden Variety with The Parasites sometime around that year. They were fucking awesome, and largely forgotten.

I saw Garden Variety with Jejune (right after the split 7" came out) in Richmond, VA. Such a great show, and to this day whenever I play the s/t LP, I always turn someone new on GV's greatness.

weird, i was just checking these guys out on myspace the other day after hearing they were from the same sorta scene as Drive Like Jehu. very different, but i like it. here's hoping for some reissues of their old stuff, seems fairly hard to find, and i wouldn't mind investing in those records...
