Amazon.com is offering a free Lookout! Records sampler for a limited time. The nine-song sampler includes music from The Donnas, The Mr. T Experience, Ted Leo And The Pharmacists, Bratmobile, Troubled Hubble, The Reputation, Small Brown Bike, American Steel and The Oranges Band.

Agreed, it's a shame they broke up when they did. The drummer and bassist are in a new band with some other area Chicago-area folks though, they're called Kid, You'll Move Mountains, you should check them out when you get a moment.

Yeah they sent out an E mail about 5-6 months ago asking all of their former bands about being on the comp. 9.9999/10 of course said no. At least the bands that I know of.

It's a slap in the fucking face to most of the bands that got that letter. It's like "hey we fucked up, we owe you thousands of dollars, we are not going to pay you, but hey!, wanna be on our new comp?!"

Only 9 songs? I wonder why that is? They had a roster of hundreds

Too much trouble? You don't use Amazon for music downloads? If so, all you have to do is click on the "Get MP3" button. It does everything else automatically. It didn't even ask me to login to my account or anything.
